S’odinonsuonare is an italian performance collective started in 2010 by Alessio Mazzaro and Marco Campana. It works between Sound art, performance and interaction design. It questions and investigates the use of technology in performance and the role of the spectator as a witness or performer.
Supported by MiBAC, the Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, as winner of DEMO/Movin Up 2013, it was in residency at STEIM in Amsterdam, where it started Flex, a project about suitable movement sensors for dancers. In 2015 it was in Canada and Michigan invited by the artist Gordon Monahan and supported by The Italian Cultural Institute of Toronto. Flex, in 2016 during two residences at TempoReale and SpazioK, was developed in the performance “How we deal with technology”. S’odinonsuonare shown its projects at Eastern Bloc (CA), Popps Packing (MI, USA), STEIM (ND), Museum Musil, ArtVerona2012, Spazio Pelodrilli and in some performance and electro music festivals as the Path Festival and Electric Eclectics Festival (CA).
